Description:

The SCMS (Supply Chain Management System) SPU project is a system developed by JIB Soft for Sripatum University (SPU) to enhance the efficiency and organization of supply chain processes within the institution. SCMS SPU streamlines procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination, providing a centralized platform that promotes transparency and accountability. By automating and organizing supply chain operations, the system helps the university manage resources effectively and support smooth internal logistics.

Goals:

1.To optimize SPU’s supply chain operations, reducing manual workloads.
2.To improve the accuracy and timeliness of procurement and inventory management.
3.To enhance transparency and accountability in resource allocation.
4.To create a scalable platform that supports future growth in SPU’s supply chain needs.

Problem:

Sripatum University previously managed its supply chain manually, leading to inefficiencies, lack of real-time visibility, and difficulties in tracking procurement processes. This disorganization often resulted in delayed acquisitions, inventory inconsistencies, and increased operational costs due to inefficiencies in resource management.

Proposed Solution:

JIB Soft developed SCMS SPU as a comprehensive, centralized platform for managing SPU’s supply chain. The system automates key processes, including procurement tracking, inventory updates, and supplier management, allowing for real-time visibility into stock levels and pending orders. Customizable reporting and analytics functions also provide insights into operational efficiency, helping the university make data-driven decisions and streamline resource allocation.

Business & Users:

  • Business: SCMS SPU enables Sripatum University to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and manage resources more effectively. The system’s automation reduces manual workloads and minimizes errors, providing SPU with a scalable solution to meet future supply chain needs and ensuring timely resource availability for university operations.
  • Users: The primary users include SPU’s procurement, logistics, and administrative teams, who benefit from a structured, user-friendly system for managing supply chain processes. Faculty and department heads also benefit from better resource allocation, ensuring that necessary supplies and equipment are available as needed.

SCMS SPU enhances supply chain management at Sripatum University by providing a structured, efficient approach to procurement and inventory tracking, supporting the university’s operational goals and resource management practices.
